Terms of Service
Effective: 15 July 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Ask Nira, a service operated by Bigdoor AI Labs Pte. Ltd. ("Bigdoor AI Labs", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account, using the service or installing an Ask Nira widget, you agree to these Terms.
You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement and authority to act for the business, organisation or website you connect to Ask Nira.
2. The service
Ask Nira provides tools to crawl authorised public storefront content, create merchant-specific knowledge indexes and operate AI-assisted shopping and support experiences. Features may include product discovery, comparisons, policy answers, analytics, testing, installation assistance and subscription controls.
The service may change as we improve it. We may add, modify or discontinue features, provided that we will not intentionally remove a paid core feature without reasonable notice where practical.
3. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and activity under your account.
- You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorised access or a security incident involving your account.
- You may not share privileged dashboard, administrator or installation credentials with unauthorised persons.
4. Storefront authority and merchant responsibilities
- You may connect only websites, storefronts and data that you own or are authorised to manage.
- You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and availability of your products, prices, policies, claims and other merchant content.
- You are responsible for providing any notices, consents and policies required for shoppers who interact with the assistant on your website.
- You must review the assistant's configuration and test it before relying on it for material customer communications.
5. AI-generated responses
Ask Nira is designed to ground responses in merchant-provided or publicly available storefront evidence, but AI systems can still produce incomplete, delayed or incorrect output. You should not use Ask Nira as the sole source for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical or similarly high-risk decisions.
You remain responsible for the products, services and commitments offered through your business. Ask Nira does not itself sell, fulfil, warrant or support a merchant's products unless expressly stated otherwise.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights or contractual obligations.
- Do not crawl, index or interact with websites without proper authority.
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, plan limits, rate limits, tenant boundaries or security controls.
- Do not introduce malware, abusive automation, unlawful content or content intended to deceive, harm or exploit others.
- Do not reverse engineer or interfere with the service except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
7. Plans, trials and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider unless otherwise stated. Prices, included usage and plan features are shown at purchase and may be updated for future billing periods with notice required by applicable law.
Trials may be limited by time, usage or eligibility. Unless a purchase flow clearly states otherwise, a trial does not guarantee continued access to paid features after it expires.
You may manage or cancel a subscription through available account controls or by contacting support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless applicable law or the purchase flow provides otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by us.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, address non-payment, investigate suspected abuse, comply with law or prevent harm. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
You may stop using Ask Nira and request account closure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers and limitations of liability, will survive.
9. Merchant content and licences
You retain ownership of content you provide or authorise Ask Nira to process. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, index, transform and process that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions required for the content and data you connect to Ask Nira.
10. Bigdoor AI Labs intellectual property
Ask Nira, including its software, interfaces, designs, documentation and service technology, is owned by Bigdoor AI Labs or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service during your authorised subscription or trial. No ownership rights are transferred.
11. Third-party services
Ask Nira may depend on third-party hosting, database, AI, email, payment and integration providers. Their services may be subject to separate terms and availability. We are not responsible for third-party products that we do not control, but we remain responsible for selecting and managing our service providers as required by applicable law.
12. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect confidential information and use it only for the relationship under these Terms, except where disclosure is authorised or legally required.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask Nira is provided on an "as available" basis. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill or data, arising from these Terms or the service.
Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for Ask Nira during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
15. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Bigdoor AI Labs against third-party claims arising from your merchant content, your connected storefront, your products or services, or your material breach of these Terms, except to the extent the claim results from our breach, negligence or wilful misconduct.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires another forum or provides non-waivable rights.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal or operational changes. We will post revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice for material changes where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.
18. General
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, except in connection with a permitted business reorganisation. We may assign these Terms as part of a corporate transaction or service reorganisation.
